Join us for a special screening of the 1985 Oscar-nominated motion picture that shot Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg to stardom. The Color Purple is an epic tale spanning forty years in the life of Celie, an African-American woman living in the South who survives incredible abuse and bigotry. Celie perseveres, holding on to her dream of one day being reunited with her sister in Africa. Based on the Pulitzer prize-winning novel by Alice Walker and directed by Steven Spielberg.

We’ll be joined by Integrate UK who will be sharing their short film ‘Love Bomb’ at the start of the evening.
