A micro master class with Angie Belcher
Stand up comedian and public speaking confidence coach Angie Belcher will help you to create your on-stage character and write jokes that are authentically “you”.
Angie will share some theory and models she has used with some of the top TED talkers so that you can write material that will get you remembered and regaled.
This session is useful for anyone who would like to create stand up comedy or just find out how to write about themselves.
Angie is an award winning stand-up comedian (Finalist What the Frock Best Comedy National Newcomer 2015 and North East Theatre best-spoken word show 2015) Angie also lovingly curates AFTERMIRTH comedy club.
As a facilitator, she teaches people how to be confident and fantastic on stages across the country. Angie is also stand –up comedy tutor for the BA Contemporary Circus with Physical Theatre at Circomedia and is a writer in residence for First Story, Literature Works and Word Up. A proud graduate of the Institute for the Development of Human Potential, she holds a masters diploma in humanistic psychology.
