You are invited to Stapleton Road this summer. A world of creativity, flavour, and unity on Bristol’s most diverse, exciting, and welcoming high street. With a huge variety of cafes, specialist shops, restaurants, and community projects there is plenty to discover.

Welcome to Stapleton Road street events…

Come and sample what businesses on the street have to offer whilst soaking up the community vibes, entertaining the kids and meeting local groups and organisations. Businesses will open out onto the street showcasing what they do with special offers, tasters and displays.

There will be music, arts and crafts, kids activities, balloons, cupcakes, face painting, henna, and information at the community hub too.

Local groups and organisations joining the party include; Empire Fighting Chance, Brunel Care, Health Watch Bristol, Bridges for Communities, Bristol Hospitality Network, Easton Christian Family Centre, Easton Leisure Centre, Bethel Church, Baraka Café, Studio Meraki, Eastside Community Trust, and artists working on the street ( Peace of Art, Marion Wright, Zakiya McKenzie, Jess Grimsdale, Zoe Gibbons and Molly Mural.)

Eastside Community Trust, Bristol Horn Youth Concern, Studio Meraki, and Bristol City Council are working in partnership to put this event together. You can read more about the full project which includes engagement work, public artworks and well as community events HERE

This activity is being delivered under the City Centre and High Streets Recovery and Renewal programme, funded by Bristol City Council and the West of England Combined Authority’s Love our High Streets project.
