The Bringing Communities Together Award celebrates a community organisation bringing diverse communities and groups together, creating a place where everyone belongs. We are so proud and privileged to work in such a rich, open, and welcoming community. This award reflects our amazing community who have helped create welcoming spaces and places for people to come together. It’s the openness, kindness, and unity of our staff, partners and local people that makes bringing people together something special at Eastside. Thank you to everyone who contributes and is part of our work.

Huge congratulations to our fellow Bristolians WECIL who picked up the Power of Community Award.
The Locality convention came to Bristol this year, and in preparation for a general election next year, they have launched their manifesto. In it, they argue that local communities are best placed to transform lives and create a fairer society, and set out the policies needed to hand power and resources to community organisations.
