Highlights from the 2021 Eastside Community Events Fund.

At the beginning of the summer 2021 we launched our community event fund. A pot of money from our endowment fund, that members of the community were invited to apply for to run community events to bring the community together again. Here are some of the events that took place…

BCFM Community Day

Barton Hill Activity Club, Netham Park summer party

Clare Street, street party

“Celebrating solidarity and community with my neighbours after such a hard year was incredible. The Dings Community Day

The Dings Community Day was a great success. Residents came together to organise a day of fun and community at the park. They had a circus act, science experiments, a local jazz band and football tournament, raffle, lucky dips, history stand, and hotdog stall.

Friends of Rawnsley Park

A group of young women recently formed Friends of Rawnsley Park. They worked with Bristol Horn Youth Concern to hold a community fun day at the park.
