After a long and successful career at Felix Road Adventure Playground, our wonderful Playground Coordinator, Eddie Nuttall, is moving on to pastures new.

Eddie has been overseeing the playground for the past eight years, seeing it transform from an uncertain future and possible closure into the flourishing, vibrant playground it is today and its exciting future as part of Eastside Community Trust.

Those of you who know him, know Eddie is passionate about playwork, adventure play and children’s rights. He is leaving us to pursue these interests in a local, national and international arena, teaching and writing about these subjects close to his heart.

Eddie will be missed but leaves behind a brilliant team that has thrived under his leadership and a future for the playground that is secured through the merger into Eastside Community Trust.

Eddie will be with us until the summer and will play a key role in developing our celebrations that mark Felix Road Adventure Playgrounds 50th year as a unique play space in our city.
