Placemakers

Our Placemakers are funded by the Lottery Community Fund to tackle isolation and loneliness in three of our neighbourhoods; The Dings, St Judes and Newtown.

We have three Placemakers Abiir who works in St Judes, Mellisa in The Dings and Tracy who works in Newtown. They work with residents to identify issues of loneliness in their specific communities and develop very local solutions, encouraging community members to look out for each other and build relationships.

Our Placemakers have brought people together through coffee mornings, local history projects, community days, gardening and neighbourhood clean-ups and by being a familiar face.
