At a time when the world can often feel uncertain and divided, community has never been more important. Here in East Bristol, the Eastside Community Trust continues to bring people together, creating spaces where everyone is welcome, valued and heard.

We are proud to share below our new short film ‘A Celebration of Community’, a joyful five minute celebration of everything that makes our community special. The film captures the warmth, diversity and creativity that flow through Easton and Lawrence Hill every day.

Filmed across our much loved spaces including Easton Community Centre and Felix Road Adventure Playground, the video shows real moments of connection and belonging. You will see families playing, neighbours dancing, and people of all ages coming together to learn, laugh and support one another.

The film reminds us that shared community spaces are not just buildings or parks. They are places where friendships are formed, confidence grows and ideas come to life. They are the heart of a strong and caring neighbourhood. In times of global tension and uncertainty, these spaces give us hope and remind us that together we are stronger.
