Drop-In Session from Voscur
Is your community group or organisation exploring collaboration and partnership opportunities?
At this session you will learn about different ways to collaborate and consider which form of collaboration might be the right ‘fit’. We will also work through some of the skills, practices, and (if applicable) procedures and paperwork you will need to collaborate effectively with other groups or charities, public or private sector organisations.
We will cover:
– What good collaboration or partnership looks and feels like
– Things to think about before collaborating
– Understanding the collaboration spectrum
– The key skills needed to collaborate effectively
– Managing power imbalances
– We’ll also briefly touch on formalised collaboration such as networks, partnerships, alliances and coalitions and signpost to useful information and resources.
Who is the session for?
This training is for community groups, charities or CICs in Bristol who are considering working collaboratively with another group or organisation, likely for a specific project. For example, you may be working on how to collaborate on an event or service, or part of a partnership bid for a grant.
What else do you need to know?
This session will be held in person and drinks will be provided. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary or access requirements.
Price?
This session is free to attend and is run in partnership with Eastside Community Trust, with funding from Bristol City Council.
