Latest Edition - Spring 2026
This spring edition of Up Our Street celebrates the energy that the new season brings to our neighbourhoods. Our sporty theme shines a light on the clubs, volunteers and local champions who help keep East Bristol active and connected.
Inside, you’ll find interviews with Easton Cowfolk Sports and Social Club, Bristol Athletic Football Club and the newly reopening St George Bowls and Social Club. We also share an update on the refurbishment of Easton Leisure Centre and what this investment means for health and wellbeing in the community.
Alongside sport, the issue highlights the cultural life of the area, including a question and answer with South African band BCUC ahead of their upcoming local performance. You’ll also hear from WECA Mayor Helen Godwin and Lawrence Hill councillor Yassin Mohamud.
