In November the kitchen at Felix Road Adventure Playground will reopen after a long break, and we are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our team as Kitchen Assistant. This fun role requires experience of working in a kitchen, serving customers, and capacity to work under pressure. Keeping the kitchen and storage areas clean and well organised is also an essential part of the role.
We want to build a staff team that reflects the diverse community we serve. We positively welcome applications from all communities living and working in the inner city.

Invitation to tender – Felix Road Adventure Playground
Eastside Community Trust invites tenders for a series of design and build projects at Felix Road Adventure Playground, covering the development of the whole site.
Following consultation with children and families over the summer, we are inviting tenders for the development of a sensory garden, a vegetable allotment, a hanging garden, an outdoor classroom/adventure play nursery and the design and rebuild of our main play structure.
The successful applicant (applicants) will be aware of the unique features of the adventure playground, as laid out in documents such as Adventure Playgrounds: The Essential Elements (Conway et. al: Play England, 2009).
We welcome joint applications, as well as applications for sections of the tender.
Submission of tenders deadline: Noon, Thursday 19 November
